One-Time Money -- Unoffical Ballot Results (Apr 30 2013)

Message from FEA President Jason Heskett with unofficial results from the One-Time Money election:

The vote is in with an unprecedented 84% voter turnout.

298 members or 64% of those voting voted BLOCK.
165 members or 36% of those voting voted PERCENT.

The vote will blessed by Rep on the 22nd of May and you should receive the one-time money on June 10, 2013.

$2249 for each 1.0 (or higher) FTE member in paid status as of April 15, 2013, prorated downward for those who were paid at less than 1.0 FTE as of that date.
(No payment to those on unpaid leave; nobody gets more than $2249.)

One-Time Money Ballot (Apr 25 2013)

Rep Council has authorized a vote on the distribution of one-time money to unit members. The vote will take place starting Friday, April 25th, at 7:30am and ending on Tuesday, April 30th, at 3:05pm. Please check your FUHSD e-mail starting Friday morning for ballot information (note: you can vote on your smartphone or tablet).

Health Care Voting Results (Jan 31 2013)

Dear FEA,

The unofficial results of the healthcare ballot are in, and they will be finalized with rep council approval on February 27th.

Voter turnout of 368 members voted, about a 75% turnout:

  1. Plan changes did not pass. 203 voted no change (55%).
  2. Contribution changes did pass. 195 voted for change (53%)
    • Maintain current $1200 annual spouse/domestic partner contribution for spouses/domestic partners who DO NOT have access to other group health insurance (and who sign an affadavit to that effect)
    • Increase annual spouse/domestic partner contribution to $2400 for spouses/domestic partners who DO have access to other group health insurance
    • Institute $250 annual contribution for covering any number of children on FEA's health plan (NOT $250 per child, but $250 for ANY number of children)
